Had to share a few more from tonight's engagement session. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking and these two and their little Corgies are so adorable!
It's always such a treat to see this family! We had a lovely time at Meckley's apple orchard and I can't wait to go back this Friday! The best time for apple orchard pictures are when the flowers bloom in spring April/May and in September when the apples are still on the trees. Ilike to keep an eye out for when the peek times are. So if you love what you see here, definitely contact me in advance to make sure you get the best out of the orchard experience. Happy autumn!
I love this family so much! Can't believe how much their kiddos have grown since we last took pictures! Here are just a few of my favorites from our time on the Battlecreek Riverwalk. Charis and Jeremy, you guys are adorable! Can't wait to share the rest with you soon! ~Lindsay
Sneak peek from Meghan & John's wedding! Their day, their families, and their love are so beautiful! Can't wait to share more from their spectacular celebration!!!
Looking back on 2015 with gratitude and moving forward with excitement!
This past year I was thrilled to be photographing weddings again with some of the most creative and fun couples ever! The falling snow, vagrant buildings, fire trucks, rustic barns, horses, sunsets, and cold winds made for exciting challenges and spectacular photo ops! Below are some wedding and engagement favorites.
I also discovered this year that there is a special place in my heart for photographing cake smashes. I love everything about it! From set up to clean up! I can't help but smile when I see these little ones. It truly feels like a gift to experience their cuteness. Below are some of my favorite cake smash moments.
I am also grateful to have met and worked with so many amazing clients and fellow wedding professionals who inspired me to take my lighting skills to the next level. Shooting at sunset has never been more exciting! Below are so more favorite moments from this past year.
Moving into the new year I am excited to announce that, come fall of 2016, Meadow Lace Photography will have a new studio space for newborn and child portraits! I will be sure to share updates on the remodeling and grand opening here on the blog as well as the Facebook Page.
It was truly an honor to be a part of your 2015. Looking forward to another year filled with celebration and exciting new developments!
A cozy campfire, walk in the woods, and warm dreamy sunlight! What more could you want to create such a romantic setting for engagement photos!? Maybe a little bow hunting? ;)
After talking with Vicky about what she and Andy wanted for their session I could not wait to meet them! Being a photographer herself, she knows how fun it is to have great props to help capture the character and story of a subject. They did an fantastic job of creating the tent and bringing in some meaningful props. Getting to be their photographer for an evening was a real treat!
Andy and Vicky have a true chemistry and strong friendship that is felt the moment you meet them! I loved seeing the way they enjoyed each other and am so happy that they will soon be celebrating their marriage with family and friends in Seattle! Vicky and Andy it was truly an honor to be your photographer! Wish I could go with you to Seattle for your big day! God bless you two and I hope you have a fantastic hunting season!
Here come the brides...Da da da da! We had two little brides for yesterday's mini bridal sessions!
I can't think of a better way to reuse a wedding dress, than this! Although it was a little chilly out these sweethearts put on their mommy's wedding dresses and were incredible little models! Their moms and I had so much fun playing dress up with them! And in between pictures we kept them royally warm by adorning them with a cozy fur coat! Thank you girls for making your mommies so happy! They will cherish this forever I'm sure!
After meeting with Brennan and Lisa I simply cannot imagine one without the other! They are such an adorable couple and so in love! It was so easy to capture the chemistry between them because they have so much of it! I cannot wait to see them say their "I do's" and celebrate with them next spring! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session. I hope they make you want to give a big hug to your own sweetheart!
It was such a beautiful snowy day for engagement photos! Here's just a sneak peek of this beautiful couple! More to come soon!
