André & Jen's Detroit Yacht Wedding

I can’t say enough of how much I love this couple! Seeing these two surrounded, supported, and celebrated by their family and friends gave me goosebumps! They make each other laugh so much and have stuck together through thick and thin. Before I even knew how amazing their day was going to be, I just knew I had to be a part of it.

Their beautiful day began at the Greektown Casino Hotel where they had their first look and hopped in a limo to catch the soft cloud covered light surrounding Detroit’s Belle Isle. It is simply gorgeous there! Following their sunny ceremony on the dock everyone boarded the yacht and set sail for the Ambassador bridge.

The captain and crew for the Infinity & Ovation Yacht Charter were absolutely wonderful! The whole party flowed seamlessly and the Captain even let Jen and André steer the boat! Their day was so much fun! Everyone danced and the party ended with everyone surrounding the couple, dancing with drinks in hand, all singing the words together!

Congratulations André and Jen! You are so wonderful together! It was a true joy to celebrating you with your amazing family and friends! Wishing you lots and lots of love! ~Lindsay

Happy Birthday Leo!

Family, balloons, cake, ice cream, confetti- Celebrating Leo's one year birthday was a blast! He enjoyed playing with the balloons, his cousins, and loved his cake so much he gave it a hug! He is one happy baby and it was so fun to watch him and his big brother enjoy the party. Happy birthday little buddy!

John & Meghan's Wedding Day!

Meghan and John have been together since high school and seeing how loved these two were by their families and how well both families blended together was so beautiful. It was like one big family!

Moments before the ceremony John and Meghan prayed together (making sure not to see each other before the ceremony). His mom was so sweet and teary eyed before, during, and after the ceremony. John's uncle lead the ceremony. After their I do's they, along with their bridal party, headed to downtown Jackson in a trolley bus. The toasts before dinner were hilarious, the dinner fantastic, and the dancing incredible! The bride did such a beautiful job of completely transforming the space (Lumen Christi High School. Where they met!) into a beautiful banquet hall! Meghan added so many beautiful touches to their day, including their bouquets! Their night was so much fun! EVERYONE danced (even grandpa got up and danced with the bride) into the night and the two took off together through sparkling lights to their honeymoon!

Congratulations Meghan and John! You are a kind and fun couple and it was such an honor to be a part of your day!

Sarah & Patrick's Vintage Lake House Wedding

Sarah and Patrick's day was absolutely stunning, but what you must know about these two, is that whatever they do they do whole heartedly! Sarah in my book wins bride of the year for making her own wedding cake (blueberry and thyme cake with lemon curd filling, and butter cream frosting) and sewing dresses for their daughter and all the little flower girls. Together they even home brewed their own pale ale for their guests! This all being done for their Michigan wedding while living in New York!

These two have been in love for quite some time and as the ceremony began you could already tell how much the two families had already become one.  The girls carried bouquets filled with the lovely scent of sage and the flower girls carried baskets with rosemary and lavender. The weather was perfect and everything looked, felt, and even smelled beautiful!

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails (created by the bride & groom), hors d'oeuvres, and a family style dinner catered by Katherine's Catering. Everyone enjoyed dancing while the sun set over the lake and the celebration concluded with a large group photo and bouquet toss! It was an absolute pleasure getting to spend the day with this couple and their kind, generous, and sincerely cool family and friends.

Congratulations to you Sarah and Patrick! You two are amazingly talented and you and your family are such beautiful people inside and out!

A huge thank you to Jennifer Buehrer and her team for their incredible coordinating of the ceremony at the Hillsdale Arboretum and complete set up of the lake house reception. You all made the vision come alive!  And a special thanks to my wonderful friend and assistant Erica McIntosh for the beautiful photos you take. And to Jennifer Buehrer again for the untouched reception and cocktail hour shots you were able to sneak in before the party started! You are both so amazing to work with! We make a great team!

Little T's Birthday Bash!

Little T's birthday was loads of fun! He was in the best of spirits and enjoyed the fun room filled with balloons, his first bite of cake, opening presents, and a shower of confetti with his family! It was such a joy to meet his whole family and to see everyone enjoy him! He is one blessed little boy! Compliments to his aunt for her beautiful work on the cake and cupcakes and to little T's mom for all the beautiful decorating! Happy birthday little T! One is so much fun!
