Keith & Krista's Wedding Day

Congratulations to newlyweds Keith and Krista! This adorable couple were celebrated with their family and friends at The Silo in Allegan, MI under a beautiful country blue spring sky!

Before guests arrived the two met together under the balcony for a "first look" and some alone time together (with a few cameras present ;) ). The rustic wagon, and covered porch were the perfect setting for their country styled wedding. These two were so sweet on each other that picture perfect moments were a breeze to capture!

It was beautiful to see just how much this day meant for the two of them. Together with written vows, communion together, and the tying of a three stranded cord they solidified their commitment to one another.

After dinner the two slipped out to practice their dance and wowed everyone with their beautiful waltz and choreographed garter dance! Everyone filled the dance floor and some watched from the balcony as the two took a walk at sunset. After dancing all night the two headed off onto their honeymoon with a sparkler sendoff!

Krista and Keith, I'm so happy for you both. It is a wonderful thing to share life with your best friend. I hope you continue to grow strong in your bond with one another and with God as your center. Congratulations!

And last but not least a huge thank you to the wonderful staff at The Silo and a huge thank you to the amazing Jennifer Buehrer for assisting all day. Jennifer your perspective and timing are beautiful! I cannot imagine the day and the drive without your fun company!

Contreras Wedding: Sneak Peek

Congratulations to Alex and Alexandra, who just tied the knot yesterday!!! These two were all smiles and could not wait to get married! It was such a privilege to be a part of their day.

Here is a little sneak peek of some favorites from our time in the church and Jackson, MI post ceremony. Alex and Alexandra you two are electric! I love all the laughter you two bring out in each other and I am SO happy for you both! It was wonderful to be there capturing your wedding story! Can't wait to share the rest with you soon!

Special Mini Bride Session

Here come the brides...Da da da da!  We had two little brides for yesterday's mini bridal sessions!

I can't think of a better way to reuse a wedding dress, than this! Although it was a little chilly out these sweethearts put on their mommy's wedding dresses and were incredible little models! Their moms and I had so much fun playing dress up with them! And in between pictures we kept them royally warm by adorning them with a cozy fur coat! Thank you girls for making your mommies so happy! They will cherish this forever I'm sure!

Aaron & Angie's Beautiful Backyard Wedding

Aaron and Angie's wedding was so incredibly fun and gorgeous! They spent months preparing their new home for their big day and they did such an amazing job!  There are so many reasons why I absolutely loved their wedding! There was so much laughter, so many awesome details, and everyone had such a great time!

These two truly enjoy each other and I absolutely loved taking pictures for them! They were super excited about collaborating with me to create pictures that fit their personality and we had so many great spots to photograph them in! Aaron is a Lieutenant for the fire department and we were so fortunate to be able to use one of the ladder trucks and one of the homes they recently extinguished. A huge thank you to the Fire Department for accompanying us at burn site! And a super huge thank you to my assistant Jen who took such gorgeous photos and danced the rest of the night with me! Aaron and Angie it was such an honor to capture your beautiful wedding and to celebrate with you! Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your day!

Chris & Shannon's Family Church Wedding

Congratulations to this beautiful new married couple!

Chris and Shannon's day was celebrated with family and the closest of friends at the bride's home church. Her mom and sisters helped her get ready as she prepared to see Chris for their "First Look".

Their "First Look" was so adorable! Shannon tip toed from behind and could not stop giggling!

Mom was all choked up in her moment with Shannon before her dad walked her down the aisle. Her sister and close family friend played a beautiful instrumental rendition of "Tale As Old As Time" from Shannon's favorite disney movie "Beauty and the Beast".

Following the ceremony they held a dinner where friends and family together prayed a special blessing on the couple. Shannon and Chris spent time greeting everyone there while a game of He Said She Said was played and everyone took turns snuggling their sweet little baby girl. Dinner was incredible and great friends of theirs set up a spectacular photo-booth with a green screen!

After dinner we had time for more pictures of the bride and groom!  And although it was pouring rain outside, the beautiful steel doors we had hoped to use were thankfully under a covered porch! Here are just a few favorites of the two of them!

So happy for you Chris and Shannon! It was an honor to be a part of your day! Your families are so sweet and you have such a precious little girl! God bless you both as you begin this beautiful journey as newlyweds!

And a special thanks to Ryan for helping out with lighting and to my wonderful assistant Erin! You are amazing!
